At Wojcicki & Mulroe, P.C. our goal is to help students apply the knowledge acquired in the classroom and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in accounting. Our internship candidate will be exposed to a variety of general accounting functions such as how to prepare bank reconciliations, how to prepare payroll and sales tax reports and how to generate financial statements for clients in various industries. Students will maintain a working knowledge of individual and corporate tax laws and assist in preparation of individual and corporate income tax returns.
Our internship is structured to provide real-world experience so students will have direct contact with our clients and participate in client meetings in and outside the office. To help develop their communication skills, the intern will interact on a daily basis with internal and external contacts and be expected to work independently to assist with client requests and follow-up with actions as needed. Our firm works with many programs including QuickBooks, Ultra Tax CS, Accounting CS, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
At this time we are looking for a winter intern that will be in their junior or senior year in college. The position will begin in December 2023 to February 2024. Our firm will provide approximately 12-16 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
